Please be informed of the recent amendment by the Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (IRBM) of the
revision on the Monthly Tax Deduction (MTD) regulation 2023 and this change is effective from
1st June 2023.
The changes will affect to the income tax rates for certain income groups as well as tax reliefs for
individual income tax for certain types of expenses.
